Nathaniel Rose takes a Double Gold, 3 Golds, 3 Silvers and a Bonze in the San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition, the largest in the world!
Brengman Brothers is proud to announce that its winemaker, Nathaniel Rose, scored a Double Gold with his eponymous 2013 Syrah/Viognier 'Katherine's Vyd.' Single Barrel at the 2017 San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition. Nathaniel also won 2 golds in Bordeaux Blends with his 2013 Left Bank and 2012 Right Bank Abigail's Vineyard, along with a gold for his 2013 Viognier Thomas Vineyard. He also won 3 silver medals and a bronze medal all in red wine. All awarded NR wines were entered in the highest price categories in the contest and were made with Lake Michigan Shore grapes. It is great to see local world class red wines garnering the high quality stamp of approval from National Judges that typically go to the Michigan white wines. We toast our glasses to Nathaniel’s success at the largest international wine competition in the world!
