Vertical Wine Tasting and Food Experience - SAUV BLANC

Verticle Wine Tasting and Food Experience A fun night at the winery with a focus on a vertical tasting experience with paired foods. Enjoy a single wine style vertical tasting of three vintages in the bottle including a chance to taste the same style from the tank or barrel. The evening begins with a sparkling and or non-alcohol cocktail together with a charcuterie appetizer table while the winemakers explain the evenings goals and discussions. Then a quick visit to a unique tasting of the youngest vintage that would be currently in the barrel or tank then back to the tasting room for a study of bottled verticals of the same style. One main course would be plated and served at the end of the vertical tasting paired with a glass of the current bottled vintage. The goal of the experience is to displays how age-worthy wines evolve after bottling by tasting multiple vintages. It would also help the guest understand the mastery of wine making that allows wines to develop for years to come and experience the unique flavors that develop as wines age through a vertical tastings. 

Wines - Sauvignon Blanc - Semillon / vintages 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (barrel) 

Food - Spring salad with creamy cheese, dried fruit and a vinaigrette. Pork sausage on a brioche hoagie bun, topped with braised cabbage and grapes. Served with kettle cooked chips. Finishing with a lemon meringue pie.

Starter and dessert to be stations (standup experience) with a plated and served main course (sit down). The main course and dessert would be paired with the featured wine of the current vintage - 2022 Sauv Blanc Sem Blend.
